��������������������The Thai Language and Culture Department assigned students to provide activities to honor our teachers on this special day by making cards and giving Hoya plants to thank their teachers for being guides on their journeys to a successful future. There were also activities such as “Guessing the teacher’s name” and then Mr. Snider, our Primary School Principal, gave a speech about Teacher’s Day.

Two student representatives sang two songs, which were “Pajera” and “Pra Khun Tee Sam” in honor of the good merit of teachers. These songs convey the meaning of thanking teachers for giving love, kindness, knowledge, opportunities, support, and inspiration for learning; therefore, students wish teachers to have happiness and good health.����

��������������������These activities organized by the Thai Language and Culture Department reflect the good relationship between students and teachers in Thai society.

Thank you to all of our wonderful teachers for the hard work, dedication and passion that you put into teaching and helping students grow.��

We celebrated Teacher’s Day at �ۿ۴�ý on January 17th, 2022. The students at Wells International wanted to show their teachers how much they appreciate them. The students at all levels decided to pamper the teachers with gifts and cards, made thank-you cards and posters, and surprised the teachers with flowers and garlands. The individual classes even had a chance to take some photos outside the classroom.��

Teachers are often expected to wear many hats, such as coach, parent, entertainer, nurse, etc., but the thank you cards and signs of appreciation make it all worth it. Days like this remind us, as teachers, why we decided to take on this profession.

The teachers at �ۿ۴�ý are excited to be back at school. They have been hard at work planning for our return to school, teaching exciting lessons, and supporting the students. The teachers have been working extra hard to ensure our students’ safety with clean classes and learning areas and well-being with the return to school. Celebrating this day together has marked a new chapter after online learning and has brought us all closer together as a community.��

�ۿ۴�ý On Nut Campus organized a Teacher’s Day ceremony on January 16, 2020. At the beginning of the ceremony, several student representatives gave speeches. There was also a lively performance from Grade 12 students and the giving of small tokens of appreciation to all of our teachers and staff from the students.��

Finally, Mr. David, one of our teacher representatives, gave an inspiring speech about the impact and lessons learned from teachers throughout his life, including his parents. This was a good opportunity for everyone to reflect on the significance and influence that all kinds of teachers have in one’s life.��

Not only do teachers teach and give knowledge, but they also provide support, opportunities and inspiration for students to improve and become better versions of themselves. Thank you to all of our teachers for inspiring and teaching our students to their fullest potential, each and every day.

Whether you are a teacher, assistant teacher, office staff, general affairs staff we are all part of a very important job of educating and giving our students the vital knowledge to live and be successful.

As adults, we ALL need appreciation for what we do, so I want to assure you that here at Wells all of you are APPRECIATED for all that you do like the ��extra things; those extra hours you work to ensure learning and to help our students to be successful.

Thank you so much for all the hard work and energy you put into your job. When��visitors walk through our hallways, they see children learning, working, smiling and laughing.��Test scores have now become a way of life in the world of education, but it’s vital that we not lose the wonderful moments and memories that happen each and��every day. Those memories are because of you and your dedication.

My greatest appreciation this year has been working with a staff of teachers that is committed to unity. I am continuously impressed with the amount of time and energy the staff at Wells puts into making sure all students at Wells are successful! They are an incredibly talented group of teachers who want nothing but the best for our students and families.

On Thursday, January 16, Wells Bang Na celebrated Teacher’s Appreciation Day.�� Our wonderful Thai department organized tis event to honor our teachers. They made envelopes for every teacher and teacher assistant. Our students wrote letters to their teachers and placed them in the envelopes. They expressed their admiration of their teachers.

Next our students honored our teachers. The grade 5 students gave speeches about their teacher, Mr. Russell. After that, our students gave the teachers miniature flower baskets. Our Bang Na Parent Teacher Organization also gave the teachers silicon coffee cups. They know teachers need their coffee!

Our first grade teacher, Ms. Sunee, gave a comical presentation about the roles of a teacher. These roles include, but are not limited to: a fitness trainer, a choreographer, an artist, a mom and dad, an entertainer, a counselor, a designer and an engineer! Teachers truly do wear many hats! Wells Bang Na would like to thank our passionate and dedicated teachers.

January 16 is an important day to honor teachers. On this occasion, �ۿ۴�ý held Teacher Appreciation Day (Wai Kru) to promote the respectable Thai tradition of giving thanks and appreciating the kindness of teachers. The Thai Language and Culture Department assigned students to provide activities to honor teachers on this special day by singing “Pra Khun Tee Sam”, and giving flowers to thank teachers for their dedication and giving of knowledge, opportunities, support and inspiration to learn.

There were also speeches given by Suraj Mirchandani, a Grade 11 student, and Ms. Chawisa, our school Counselor, about the significance of this day and the importance of honoring and realizing all that teachers do and sacrifice to help students develop.

Overall, these activities reflect the positive relationships between students and teachers in Thai society.

Thank you to all of our teachers for inspiring and teaching our students to their fullest potential, each and every day.

On Tuesday, January 16, we celebrated Teacher’s Day with a special assembly to honor our teachers here at �ۿ۴�ý. Jira Trinetkamol, the event’s emcee, began the assembly with some nice words about teachers and some background about special day in Thailand. Ms. Katherine, our IBDP Coordinator, also gave a special speech about the meaning of being a teacher. Student representatives from each homeroom proceeded to give flowers to our teachers as a symbolic act to show respect and appreciation for our teachers on this special day. Lastly, a video created by our Grade 11 students was presented, highlighting different perspectives on being a teacher and teacher appreciation for the many teachers in our lives.

Thank you to all of our Wells teachers for their hard work, dedication, and passion put into changing the world…one student at a time!
