Let’s Go for a Reading Ride by K3B-Panda

The K3B Panda Class at Wells International Kindergarten has been incorporating songs into their daily literacy work. Once students gain appreciation for a given song, (and watch the cartoon video a few times) the class practices singing the song using only the ‘words’ (without the video). Then the class gets a chance to make their own lyrics sheet: They fill in missing words from the song on their paper, and then record themselves reading the finished product. By the end of the year, they have a collection of over 10 memorable songs from their year in K-3.
