Father’s Day is celebrated on December 5th which is the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the monarch of Thailand. He was born in 1927 and died on October 13th, 2016.

�ۿ۴�ý – On Nut held a special ceremony in honor of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to remember his birthday, Father’s Day and National Day in Thailand. On December 1st, our campus held a ceremony to celebrate fathers and let students show love for their fathers and father figures. Our American Sign Language (ASL) Club and High School choir performed a song called ลมหนาว or ‘Love in spring’, which has a deep meaning made by King Rama 9. Then Mr.Brian Salter Townsend gave a meaningful speech about ‘Father’s Day’, followed by his sons, Patrick (Class of 2024) and Sean (Class of 2029) also give a heartfelt speech to their father.

Additionally, we had another adorable performance to ‘I Love My Daddy’ from the primary students in Grade 2. Lastly, a video presentation about Father’s Day was presented by some of the High School students. It was a beautiful ceremony to celebrate this important figure, as well as other father figures, in everyone’s life. Happy Father’s Day to all!

Father’s Day 2022

Father’s Day is celebrated on December 5th, which is the birthday of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the monarch of Thailand. He was born in 1927 and died on October 13th, 2016.��

Thai and Thai culture class activities��

In Thai and Thai culture primary classes, students decorated cards for their fathers. In middle school, students made 3D Pop-up Projects about “The Royal Projects of King Rama IX” and decorated their Father’s Day Pop-up Cards. High school students also��decorated cards for their fathers.

On December 2nd, Wells On Nut hosted a ceremony to celebrate fathers and let student show love for their fathers. Our high school choir sang the song ‘You raise me up’, which was followed by a performance by Dr.Peng and Arya (Grade 2A) about ‘Father’s love’. Deven (Grade 7A) also gave a speech about ‘Father’s love’. Finally, Grade 1 danced to ‘My dad song’.

Father’s Day 2021

December 5th was the date of the anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX, who was born in 1927 and died on October 13th, 2016. As he was the father of the nation, this date has also become Father’s Day in Thailand.

Due to the pandemic circumstances this year, we did not hold our annual Father’s Day assembly. Instead, each grade level celebrated in their own way with activities relating to this year’s theme, ‘My Special Memory’.

In primary school, students decorated cards for their fathers, whereas in middle school, students decorated frames to put photos of special memories in and give it as a present to their fathers. In high school, students decorated a father’s day poster online and shared it with their parents. of the compiled work of the students!

The Wells Thai Department wishes every father and father figure a Happy Father’s Day!

Thank you for all of your efforts in raising strong and confident children, and for always supporting them.

Father’s Day 2020

December 5th was the date of the anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX, who was born in 1927 and died on October 13th. 2016. He was known as the father of the nation and this date also became Father’s Day in Thailand.

Before the long holiday weekend, on December 2nd, our Thai Department hosted a ceremony to��celebrate fathers and let the students show their love and respect for their fathers.��During the ceremony, there were several activities.

Our Grade 5 students�� performed a hip hop dance, and Grade 1 also danced to a Happy Father’s Day songs.�� After the performances, some of the short movies created by our high school students were shown. The theme of these short movies was “True Love”, and the videos can be accessed here:

And finally,�� in Thai culture class, all of the students made gifts for their fathers on this special day.

Father’s Day 2019

December 5th has become a special day here in Thailand. Not only is it the official date of Father’s Day in Thailand, but it was the date of the anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX. He was born in 1927 and died on October 13, 2016. He was the father of the nation and a symbol of fatherhood.

On December 4th, before��the holiday, our school had a ceremony to��celebrate fathers and let the students show love and respect their fathers. The students prepared gifts for their fathers in Thai culture classes. During the ceremony, the Grade 11 IB Thai class presented a creative dramatic performance they created, titled “The Love of a Father”.��

Grade 5 sang a song titled “KraiNhor” and Pam in Grade 11 performed a musical piece. Grade 1 sang a song “I love my daddy”. A student representative from Grade 11, Paint, gave a speech about fathers and then student representatives presented special gifts to their fathers.

Finally, a�� father representative gave a heartwarming speech about the joys of being a father. It was a beautiful ceremony to celebrate this important figure in everyone’s life.

Fathers Day Wells Bang Na Campus

At �ۿ۴�ý Bang Na campus, we honored the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and our fathers. King Rama 9 was loved because of how he cared for his country/ He was kind, giving and selfless. Thai people considered him the father of Thailand. Fathers are important in the growth and development of their children. They work hard to provide for their families and care for their children to make them strong and stable. Thank you to all of our fathers and families for celebrating this day with us!

Father’s Day Celebration 2018

This year, we had a Father’s Day ceremony on December 4,��2018. All students were a part of this school activity by making Father’s Day cards, brochures giving information about King Rama 9’s projects, and presentations about King Rama 9’s projects, which can be applied in our daily lives.

Moreover, we had special activities during the ceremony. A representative father and student gave very inspiring speeches about the meaning of Father’s Day and the importance of a father. Afterwards, everyone also appreciated the singing and Thai dance performances by from primary students.

Father’s Day Ceremony 2017

On Friday, December 1st, the Wells community celebrated and honored the fathers in our community with a special Father’s Day ceremony. The highlights of the ceremony included two special speeches from one Wells father, Mr. Justin Baker, and his son, Kevin Baker. Following these heartwarming speeches, sons and daughters lined up to give flowers and thanks to their fathers for their love and support. Natcha, a Grade 12 student, also performed a beautiful traditional Thai dance in honor of this significant occasion.

Our ceremony concluded with announcements of the winners of certificates for most creative and eco-friendly Loy Krathongs and Loy Krathong posters. Congratulations to our creative and eco-friendly young minds!
