The air was filled with excitement and festive cheer as ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Chonburi prepared for its annual Christmas Gala. Students, parents, and staff gathered on December 14th to celebrate the joyous occasion of the very first Wells Chonburi Christmas Gala, making it a night never to forget.

The highlight of the Christmas Gala was undoubtedly the spectacular performances by ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½’s talented students. From heartwarming carol renditions to lively dance numbers, the stage came alive with our students’ hard work and talents. Parents beamed with pride as their children showcased their creativity and dedication to spreading joy. 

The Christmas Gala served as more than a festive celebration—it was a time for the school community to unite and share our students’ talents. Parents, teachers, and students created lasting memories that extended beyond the holiday season. The opportunities to perform on stage build our students’ confidence and sense of belonging. 

In the true spirit of Christmas giving, ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Chonburi organized a charity initiative during the Gala. Donations were collected to give to a local school. Parents and students were eager to provide books, toys, stationery and cleaning products to the Ban Huay Yang School around the corner from our school.  The school community came together to positively impact the lives of those in need, embodying the true meaning of the season.

The Christmas Gala at ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Chonburi celebrated the season’s culture and created an ideal space for the school community to come together, share their talents, and foster the importance of giving back to the community.

Generosity Overflowing: Supporting Place of Grace

Wells Bang Na continued its tradition of giving back to the community with an initiative to support Place of Grace, a local foundation aiding the less fortunate in the Maha Thai slum area. Families and teachers united to donate presents and food, contributing to the foundation’s outreach Christmas party. The generosity displayed not only filled the food bank but also ensured sustained support for hundreds of people in the months to come. This collaboration with Place of Grace, now spanning four Christmases, reflects the unwavering commitment of Wells Bang Na’s community to kindness and compassion.

Winter Wonder Wells Show: A Spectacle of Talent and Magic

The Winter Wonder Wells Show captivated audiences with its magical atmosphere and the extraordinary talents of Wells Bang Na students. Directed by the creative genius of Mr. Paul, our music teacher, the show took the audience on an enchanting journey through a Christmas story brought to life by the students and some daring teachers. The surprise factor reached new heights as students witnessed their teachers singing and acting, leaving parents and the school community in awe. Glowing reviews poured in, commending the dedication of Mr. Paul and the participating teachers in creating a truly spectacular holiday extravaganza.

Student-Led Marketplace and Festive Farewells

In a season marked by student choice and leadership, Wells Bang Na experienced a closer sense of community. Students took charge and organized their very first marketplace on the playground, showcasing creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. The last day of school was a joyous occasion, with combined parties between early year and primary classes. As the students bid farewell to friends for a well-deserved holiday break, the school atmosphere was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the unmistakable spirit of togetherness.

¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ Bang Na celebrated Christmas with a blend of generosity, talent, and community spirit. The commitment to giving back, the showcase of student talents in the Winter Wonder Wells Show, and the student-led initiatives demonstrated the school’s dedication to fostering a sense of togetherness and making a positive impact beyond its walls. As the holiday season unfolded, Wells Bang Na proved once again that the true magic of Christmas lies in the warmth and generosity of its vibrant school community.

Place of Grace Donations

For the past three years our students and teachers have worked together to take action in the local community. Wells Bang Na has developed a connection with Place of Grace, a foundation that works to improve the lives of children in the Maha Thai slum community. For one month, students and families brought presents and food donations to the school. We aimed to collect 100 gifts in total. By the end of the gift and donation period, over 160 gifts had been given! Additionally, the community donated enough food to fill the food pantry for months. The students of Wells Bang Na were extremely proud to know they made a difference for others.

Frost Fest Show

The ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½ students and parents were very excited on Wednesday, December 14th, as the Bangna campus performed the Frosty Fest 2022 show. The students danced with enthusiasm and were risk-takers. Some classes danced to Christmas songs while our grade 3 & 4 students performed short skits. Having parents on campus with us this month was a treat. The students might have been a little nervous, but they do love to share their talents and hard work with their friends and families!

Frosty Fair

On Friday, December 16th, Wells International Bangna School held a fun fair! The students had a great time playing games and making festive crafts. There were activities like the crazy dress-up game, minute-to-win-it games, cookie tower, and even picking candy canes up with string. The students decorated cookies, made Christmas decorations and even made Christmas cards at different booths. The students replenished their energy with popcorn, candyfloss pancakes, and even Christmas tree brownies and snacks offered by the catering company, Foodhouse. The parents were equally involved in this day by contributing their time by working at the PTO booth, and our Santa Clause was cool with his sunglasses.

We hope they continue to think about the greater meaning of Christmas and all the ways they can share and care for others.
