The students’ dynamic performance ignited the stage with their diverse talents, creating an exciting atmosphere that filled the mall with energy. The band set the tone with a mix of drums and wind instruments, captivating the audience peering down from the railings above. Then, the dance crews took over and brought in more energy with their hip-hop moves and confidence. Finally, the choir harmonized with The Lion Sleeps Tonight and Over the Rainbow, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The success of cross-collaboration between the 扣扣传媒 campuses was evident, and the performances showcased the students’ diverse talents. Overall, it was a memorable evening that highlighted the school’s commitment to excellence and the arts.

The students from the On Nut and Chonburi campuses had a jam-packed day filled with voice practices to develop their breathing, use of their diaphragm, and posture. After the warm-ups and practice, the students divided into groups to practice the different parts of a choir, such as soprano, alto, and tenors. The choir directors broke the students into groups to practice the melodies and harmonies before joining up to rehearse as a whole group.聽

However, the students had some time to relax and play games after lunch. They played team sports such as pickleball and badminton. The students who preferred to watch and cheer were lounging comfortably on the beanbags. After relaxing and socializing, the students and teachers assembled in the new auditorium for a grand finale practice. They were the first group to stand on the brand new stage and sing together.聽

The choir boot camp was a special day where our students from the two campuses could connect and share ideas through their passions of music and singing. The highlight of the day was to see how our students made new friends and learned valuable lessons to develop their singing skills. We hope to have many more inter-school collaborations such as this.

Summer Spotlights

扣扣传媒 presents Summer Spotlights! What better way to celebrate the ending of a school year than come watch the students perform selected pieces of various themes showcasing different performing arts mediums. This recital-style production will be divided into separate days with Theatre & Dance on June 4th and Choir & Band on June 5th. Come join us as we take you through performances about Marvel superheroes, the 1960鈥檚 style musical of Hairspray, music by Queen and much more!

Students already know which day they will be performing on however, you can find out when your child performs from the list below.

Once again the musical talent of Wells students was on public display at the Siam Paragon Christmas Carol Competition on November 21^st.聽 This year鈥檚 competition was for students in primary and middle schools, and Wells students from both Thong Lor and On Nut campuses competed.

This was a very special experience for many of our Primary students, as it was the first time that they had the experience to sing in a choir and participate in a choir competition.

The On Nut Choir was on form, singing two very different songs 鈥� the last one of which had students singing while working on an assembly line, packing toys into boxes and wishing the crowd a Merry Christmas at the end of the performance.聽 While choirs from the On Nut campus have performed publicly before, this was the first time that students from their Primary School were involved.聽 It was also a 鈥渕ilestone鈥� performance for students from the Thong Lor Campus, as it was the first public performance by their choir!聽 Students were involved in every aspect of their performance 鈥� from singing to accompanying to even conducting the choir itself! They all did a great job and should be proud of themselves!

Both choirs did extremely well and while we didn鈥檛 come in first, everyone was happy and excited to have had the opportunity to perform for the crowds at Siam Paragon.
